BSG has possibly the longest record of continuous legal service in the Lancashire area. Dating from 1720 when John Parker established a legal practice around Preston (and Liverpool) the firm has continuously evolved to become the firm it is today with offices now covering North and Central Lancashire.
Previously known separately as Blackhurst Parker & Yates in Preston and Swainson Son & Reynolds in Lancaster, Blackhurst Swainson had been established for over 290 years.
Now based in Lancaster and Preston (with consulting facilities in Garstang) we have a range of experienced lawyers who are happy to meet with clients wherever they wish. We provide a range of services with a personal style upon which many generations of clients have come to rely. We deliver a high quality service to both private and business clients.
