Dominic Sellar has been a practising court solicitor since 1997. Throughout his career Dominic has successfully defended motorists charged with road traffic offences throughout Scotland. He has developed an excellent reputation and has been regularly instructed by hundreds of law firms throughout Scotland to represent their clients at court. He has also been widely instructed by other road traffic lawyers to look after their clients.
Dominic has represented people from all walks of life and backgrounds including police officers and fellow solicitors. For the most part, however, he represents hardworking individuals who depend upon their driving licence.

We are specialist road traffic solicitors representing clients throughout Scotland charged with all types of motoring offences. This is our area of expertise. If you are facing prosecution for any road traffic offence we are here to help. We will provide an assessment of your case outlining the relevant law, the penalties and options that are available to you. This can be done over the phone, by email or at a meeting. All initial advice and representation is provided by Dominic Sellar.
This initial advice is always free and there is no obligation or pressure to instruct us. We will provide an honest assessment of your case and straightforward advice. If you have a valid defence we will do all that we can, within the law, to fight your case. We are not in the business of taking on cases just for the fees. If we don’t think you need a lawyer we’ll help you on your way with a little more advice so that you can deal with matters yourself.
By the same token, we don’t run cases just for fees. If we don’t think you have a defence then we will tell you. If that is the case we will concentrate on damage limitation to keep you on the road. There is almost always something that can be done to reduce the penalties. If you do decide to instruct us we will quote you a fixed fee which is guaranteed.
