Two doctors have been charged with manslaughter by gross negligence over the death of a Kent primary school teacher during childbirth and the NHS Trust has become the first in the country to be charged with corporate manslaughter.
Nick was one of four local lawyers invited by the Young Legal Aid Lawyers Group to a discussion this evening, at the University of Kent, on the recent legal aid changes and the future for legal aid. The discussions focused.
In February last year we reported that we had received instructions from more than 50 patients at the College Practice, Maidstone, whose medical records had been unlawfully accessed by Steven Tennison, a Business Manager employed by the Practice.
