Mackenzie & Dorman has provided legal services in Belfast since 1904, when Charles A Mackenzie established his office on the Albertbridge Road – the first solicitor to set up a practice in the east of the city.
Today the practice represents a tradition of over 100 years of dedicated, progressive, legal service to private and business clients throughout Belfast, North Down and further afield.
Our accessible practice on the Holywood Road comprises four solicitors supported by a dedicated, experienced team. We are approachable, friendly and customer care is always our priority.

Family Law and Divorce
Providing advice on family matters and divorce requires a calm, sensitive and understanding approach. In all cases, we offer reassurance that our experience and professionalism will bring resolution to the most complex of family matters.
Dealing with the consequences of matrimonial breakdown including financial matters and the issue of child residence can be distressing and our family law practitioners can be trusted to provide a safe and sympathetic environment where such matters can be addressed sensitively. As a result, most of our divorce or separation cases are settled outside of court.
We provide advice to clients on all aspects of family law including the granting of non-molestation orders, residence of children and contact arrangements.
