About the Business
McKay Law has responded to demand for niche legal publications by becoming one of the UK's leading independent publishers with titles covering some of the most controversial and complex areas of the law. McKay Law Publishing was founded in 2005 when Simon McKay acquired the rights to the Covert Policing Review, the predecessor of the Covert Policing, Terrorism and Intelligence Law Review. Our titles are now split between books, manuals and journals providing vital and practical information with up-to-date legal analysis by the country's foremost experts.
Commissioned by Oxford University Press to write a book on covert policing, Simon McKay produced the lauded Covert Policing: Law & Practice. This title offers a comprehensive review of the law governing covert policing activities, undertaken by law enforcement and other public authorities. Keen to address the lack of practical guidance available, McKay Law also publishes a range of specialist manuals to complement our training courses.
