About the Business
I am a Costs Lawyer with over 22 years' experience in the field of legal costs. Having successfully completed a law degree and the Law Society's final examinations, I initially worked for a small niche firm in Kensington dealing with personal injury and clinical negligence cases. I was expected to deal with claims for costs in successful cases and quickly became concerned as to the extent to which paying parties would seek to challenge the claims for costs and the importance of maximising the level of costs recovered. I became increasingly involved with costs issues and attending detailed assessments and found myself dealing with most of the firm's costs which ultimately led to my decision to specialise in this field.
