Our banking and finance solicitors advise on a wide variety of financial transactions for many different types of client.

We act for lenders and borrowers alike in respect of secured lending, property and development financing, asset-based lending, invoice discounting, factoring and supplier financing. We are appointed to the panel of approved law firms for the majority of the major banks in the Midlands and regularly act for these banks on a range of lending transactions.

The team also acts for private equity houses, other corporates and individuals (particularly in connection with management buy-outs and buy-ins) in relation to acquisition and development financings and corporate restructurings, including debt by way of loan notes and intra-group debt arrangements.

We have extensive experience of intercreditor, security trust and other priority arrangements where there are competing debt or security claims over a company. We also advise borrowers and incoming lenders on the refinance of existing indebtedness and the exit of incumbent secured lenders.
